Attractions The little village of Laurac-le-Grand was at one time the capital of the region of Lauragais and has some interesting sights to offer: the village church, a ruined castle and parts of fortifications dating back to the 11th, 13th and 16th centuries. Magnificent views can be enjoyed from the 341 metre high “Pierre Levée”, enabling you to look out over 7 Départements.
The village baker visits us every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with freshly baked bread and croissant - delicious!

Civilization is not too far away, our nearest large town of Castelnaudary, better known for its famous cassoulet is only 10 minutes away.

Discover the regions gourmet foods the Cassoulet of Castelnaudary, the jewel of its gastronomy as well as its products of the land (chickens, capons, duck raised on local farms) foies gras, fruits fed of sunshine (melon, apricot, cherry, grapes) and the mountain cheeses to mention but a few. To reserve the property, the client should complete and sign the booking form and return it together with payment of the initial non refundable deposit (30% of the total rent due). Following receipt of the booking form and deposit, the owners will send a confirmation invoice and statement. This is the formal acceptance of the booking.
A Refundable Breakages Deposit of 100 € for every week or part week of the rental period is required in case of, for example, damage to the property or its contents.
The balance of the rental along with the refundable breakages deposit is due not less than eight weeks prior to the start of the holiday unless late booking conditions have been agreed. Failure to pay the amount in full will constitute a cancellation of the holiday by the holidaymakers. Reminders are not issued. Reservations made within eight weeks of the start of the holiday require full payment at the time of booking. Cancellation of the booking by the holiday maker should be made in writing. |
