A pretty stone built cottage set in tranquil farmland with beautiful valley views.
The cottage retains many original features including exposed stone walls, beams and a wonderful granite open fireplance.
It has a spacious open plan lounge/diner kitchen with a farmhouse table for seating 6. The kitchen is well equipped with a washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave plus all cooking pots, utensils and plates etc.
The lounge is focused around the open fireplace and has a sofa and chairs, TV with videos and DVD's supplied, lots of books and board games.
There are 3 sets of doors leading out onto the front paito area which has a table and chairs for alfresco dining.
At the rear is a garden with plenty of room for sun bathing, relaxing or playing in. Parking is safe at the side of the property and there is no road to worry about as the cottage is approached down a small lane.![]()
There are 2 bedrooms upstairs plus an additional lounge area on the mezzanine. This has chairs and a table for relaxing, reading, playing board games - can also be used for an additional sleeping area.
The bedrooms are large and airy, each has a double bed and single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and lamps. The views from the windows on the 1st floor over the valley are stunning at any time of year.![]()
Linen and towels are included in the rental price or a 10% discount is available if you bring your own. There is a small charge for electricity used at 10 cents per unit to avoid wastage.
Cot, highchair and stairgate are avaiable at no extra charge but must be ordered in advance.
Wood for the fire is available at 3 pounds per night or can be bought locally in small sacs.

Attractions
Villedieu-Les-Poeles is a famous medieval town and the heart of the copper and brass foundry industry in the region. It is full of shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, and much more. There is a beautiful church, lace museum, furniture museum, brass and copper musuem, riverside walks and medieval walk ways. There is always something going on the town. Market day is Tuesday and has stalls of all kinds.
The beaches at Granville are only 20 mins drive away and it is possible to take a boat from the port to Jersey or Granville for the day.
Mont ST Michel is about 30 mins drive and is classed as the 8th wonder of the world.
Avranches another medieval town is only 20 mins drive with lots of shops, cafes, bars, gardens castle and museums.
The ww2 DDay landing beaches and museums are about 45 mins drive and Bayeux the same.
There is a wonderful zoo just 5 mins down the road from the cottage that the children and adults will love - open all year.

Booking A reservation can be held for 7 days with no commitment. A booking form will be emailed or sent and when returned with a 25% deposit the reservation will be confirmed.
The balance is not due until 28 days before arrival.
A 100 pounds security deposit is required in addition to the rental and will be returned with in 14 days of departure. This is held against damage, loss, return of the key and charges for electricity and wood.
