The apartment is near the picturesque village of Villeneuve-de-Duras, 15 miles south of Bergerac, surrounded by vineyards and plum trees. Ideally situated in this world famous wine region affords plenty of opportunities for tasting and buying.

The accommodation is a three bedroom first floor self contained apartment, which forms the top floor of our house.

There is a well equipped kitchen /breakfast room, including a microwave, dishwasher and full cooking facilities. The washing machine is located in the bathroom.The lounge has comfortable seating as well as a TV/DVD/CD combo. The French doors open out onto a large balcony where it is possible to eat while enjoying the most beautiful sunsets.

Bedroom 1. contains a king-size bed with a wardrobe and bedside chests.

Bedroom 2. contains either two single beds or a jointed super-king size bed, as well as bedside, tables and a large mirrored wardrobe.

Bedroom 3. contains two single beds with matching wardrobe and chest.
There is a bathroom which contains a multi-jet shower cabin as well as the washing machine. The WC is separate.

The house has a swimming pool which is private and secluded with an outlook over the local vineyard. Sun-loungers and a barbeque are provided for your use.

Our aim has been to provide accommodation we would be delighted to say in ourselves if it were our holiday. Therefore, we have tried to make the accommodation comfortable and welcoming.



Villeneuve-de-Duras is in the Lot et Garonne, a few miles to the south of The Dordogne and close to the Gironde Department, making it an excellent base for exploring this beautiful area.

The region has literally thousands of chateaux to view and is dotted with lovely medieval villages and bastide towns with superb gastronomic markets most days.

Attractions

The region is most famous for its Prunes, Foie gras and of course, wine. With the growing regions of Bergerac, Bordeaux, St Emillion, Monbazilliac, Pomeral and Cote de Duras, you will never go thirsty with lots of opportunity for tasting and buying. The closest vineyard is 100yards away ‘Domaine de Grand Mayne’ so you need not travel far for your first taste! You can canoe down the Dordogne, Horse ride through the vines, go play a round of golf at renowned Chateau Vigiers, fishing at one of the local lakes you can just drive around and enjoy the beautiful scenery and wonderful restaurants with their ‘Plat de Jour’.

   
Price Low season = Jan - May 08 = £300 per week
Mid season = May - june 08 = £500 per week
High season = July - August 08 = £750 per week

The weekly rentals are for the house and swimming pool and include all utilities except telephone. Bed linen and towels are provided.

A deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking, the full balance required 8 weeks before the commencement of the holiday.
